Making Personalised Magazine Covers - See how we do it...
When you place an order with us, we take your photo and apply some standard enhancements to it. We take care of any red eyes and skin blemishes. Where needed we may also bighten eyes and teeth (everyone would want to look their best on a magazine cover - right ?). Resizing and cropping the photo is also taken care of at this stage. Basically we try to make the very best of the photo you supply before we even start working on your chosen magazine design. Unlike some websites, we do not charge you more for this.
 
Here is our starting point, a lovely picture, good quality, but the subject is too dark to use as it stands.
  
 
We adjusted the lighting levels within the photo and cropped it. We also re-size it to magazine cover size. Sometimes this means we reduce the size of the photo, others require that the photo be 'blown up'. It is always better to use the best quality photo possible.
 
 
We start with a blank canvas on which to build our magazine cover...
 
 

Here we have created and added the magazine title, we are making a MAXIN cover. We have also added the date at this stage. The magazine date will be the date requested by the customer on our order form and can be any date of your choice.

  
 
Here we have added the enhanced photo to the magazine cover... It's starting to look like a real magazine now- right !
 
 
Here we start adding hedlines etc.
 
 
We add the last headlines and other appropriate texts for the magazine title being produced.
 
 
Here we add the all important barcode for reaslism !
  
 

Finally, in this example we have brought our cover girls head on top of the magazine title. This is very common feature found on many magazine covers you can see today.

At this stage, the customer will be notifed that their cover is ready for review and approval. We can make changes where required before the cover goes to print or gets downloaded.
