WHY CAN'T I SEE THE COMPLETED MAGAZINE COVER BEFORE I PAY?

This is the single most frequently asked question, and here's the answer: Here at mycoverpics.com, our personalised fake magazine covers are created by skilled designers, they are not created by basic image editors with fixed layouts and fonts. Since our covers are designed and created by a real person, not automated software like some other places, it takes time, skill and attention to detail that far exceeds what any automated system can do. Each cover takes between 30 to 60 minutes work to produce. For this reason we cannot show you a preview of the finished cover at the time of ordering. WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE COVERS WITH THE EXACT TITLE OF THE REAL MAGAZINES ?

HOW DO I ORDER?

Simply click on home where you will see example magazine covers that we are showcasing, decide which cover you wish to order and click on the order button included in each one. From there you will be presented with a form to give us your details and information abour the special headlines you want us to incorporate into your cover. Then use the browse button to select your chosen photograph which will automatically uploaded to us. You can order a framed copy, a printed copy or a digital download copy to print yourself. CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

Absolutely, Yes. We have partnered with Paypal for our payments processing. Paypal are the biggest and most respected internet payments processor. You can rest assured that your payment data is secure with Paypal. We do not store or even see your credit card or Paypal account information. You do not need a Paypal account, you can simply pay with your normal credit or debit card, you will be offered the opportunity of obtaining a Paypal account, but it is not required to pay for you mycoverpics.com magazine cover. I WANT MY COVER TO USE MORE THAN ONE PHOTO?

This is fine, we only accept a single photo on our automated order form, but some magazine styles and orders are better suited to using more than one photograph on the cover. We can cater for this, after payment is made, you can simply reply to our confirmation email or write a separate email with your order number in the 'subject' box and attach any additional pictures you want us to make use of. Please send additional photograhs to us at , don't forget, it really helps us if you can include your order number in the 'subject' box of your email, also feel free to include any additional instructions or requirememts at the same time. WHAT KIND OF IMAGE SHOULD I SEND?

The higher quality the image you send, the better your magazine cover will look. Ideally we need a high quality JPEG image which if possible would be in the portrait shape making it best suited to the cover of a magazine. Try to send us the best image possible to make your magazine cover look truly authentic. If you are not sure if your image will work, contact us and tell us the size of the image and it's content and we can go from there. We need a good quality image of at least 80Kb but preferably at least 500Kb.

We will do some basic retouching on the image, if needed. We can correct red-eye, conceal blemishes, and whiten teeth - everyone should look their best on the cover of a magazine! We can also retouch old cracked black and white images etc. In addition, where required, we can blur the background to make you subject really stand out, and even replace backgrounds with stylish coloured back drops as appropriate to the magazine style.

WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY GET?

Once we receive your payment and image we will get to work designing your personalised magazine cover. When your cover has been designed, a proof will be made available to you for approval via the 'My Order' button on this site. At this stage you have the chance to accept the cover or let us know if you require any amendments. After we receive your approval, if you have ordered a framed magazine cover we will print the cover on glossy 10" by 8" photo paper and carefully frame it. For non framed printed we will go ahead (after approval) and print your cover on glossy A4 high quality photo paper and then carefully prepare it for shipping. For a non printed digital order, once you have approved the cover as being what you wanted, you will be able to save it to your computer right away. For printed and framed orders, in addition to your printed copy being delivered to you, you can also save a copy to your computer at the time of approval.Back to top.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY COVER TO ARRIVE ?

We aim to design, print and send all magazine cover orders within 1-3 working days, subject to you approving the design in line with these timescales. Please let us know if your order is urgent and we will try and get it to you quicker. Postal delivery times for the UK are 1 to 3 days, for European addresses 3 to 5 days and for the USA, Cananda, Australia and the rest of the world, allow around 4 to 10 days for receipt. THE MAGAZINE I WANT IS NOT ON YOUR WEBSITE ?

No problem, since all our covers are individual, simply send us an email telling us what you are looking for and we will design a cover just for you (no extra charge), if the magazine cover style you want is completely fictional or less well known (eg in house company magazince etc), it helps if you can send an example cover, or detailed description so that we can meet your expectations in terms of quality. HOW DO I DOWNLOAD FURTHER COPIES OF MY MAGAZINE COVER ?

If you have already approved your magazine cover, you would have been able to download it to your PC at the time you approved it. For a period of at least seven days after your approval is received, we keep your cover on our server for you to download again if needed. Simply click on the 'My Order' button to the left of this page (it is on all our pages) and enter your order number and last name. Follow the instuctions on that page if you wish to download it again. If you wish to download a cover that is no longer available via the method described above use the 'contact us' button and we may be able to assist you. Back to top.

CAN I HAVE MORE THAN 1 COPY OF THE PRINTED COVER ?

Yes, simply email us by replying to our order confirmation email, we will adivse the cost (depending on how many) and send you a payment request via Paypal to cover the cost. Once your cover is approved we will print the necessary extra covers and dispatch them to you.. Back to top.
